Different Option Levels for Different Demands

DpuScan comes in different versions: DpuScan Standard, DpuScan Professional, and DpuScan Gold, each with expanded functional scope.

There is no scan quantity restriction to any number of documents, neither absolute nor per time. Also, there are no speed limits for the Unlimited Edition of DpuScan. The Limited Edition is adapted to the scan speed of the respective scanner.

DpuScan QSI is specially foreseen for quality assurance and indexing, with or without connection to a database. Therefore, with this variant, the scan speed is restricted to 32 images per minute. All other functions, however, are executed in maximum speed.

The following description gives an overview on the available scope of all DpuScan variants. All versions of the Unlimited Edition drive the supported production scanners at full speed, only their functionality is different.

The table below shows, sorted by function, all the features of DpuScan and their availabilty to the special DpuScan variants.
Some functions require at least DpuScan Professional or DpuScan Gold unlimited for their setup, but can be used by DpuScan Standard or DpuScan Gold Limited Edition, if they were set up by a higher level version of DpuScan.

This will often make it possible to work with DpuScan Standard or DpuScan Gold Limited Edition, at the individual scan stations, if a higher level version is available to the administrator at some master station.
