   Definition of Event Rules

Defining Event Rules allows for defining automatic job separation, additional information for
the protocol file, sorting processes, and more. Available event sources are: barcodes,
patchcodes, different counters and the size of a file. Information coming from the scanner
(e.g. Kodak image header) can also be used.

In the Goldversion, an Event Rule can additionally select a different
filter set for the subsequent images. This way, it is possible to, for example, use a suitable
advance-sheet with patchcode or barcode to switch to the suitable filter that is defined for
the pages following after the cover sheet.
